These Terms and Conditions set out the type and scope of electronic services provided through the Website, the terms and conditions of their provision, the terms and conditions for concluding and terminating agreements for the provision of such services, the complaints procedure, and the rules concerning Reviews presented on the Website.

The Website is informational in nature. Sending an enquiry through the Contact Form or by email, as well as merely using the Website, does not constitute the conclusion of an agreement for the provision of legal assistance. The conclusion of such an agreement requires separate arrangements between the Service Provider and the client.

Information concerning the rules governing the practice of the profession of “radca prawny” is available from the competent professional self-government body.
§ 3. Type and Scope of Electronic Services
The Service Provider provides, by electronic means and free of charge, a service consisting in enabling the User to send an enquiry through the Contact Form or to the email address indicated on the Website and may subsequently respond to the enquiry by email or in another agreed manner.
The Service Provider enables the User to access information concerning the Service Provider’s services and Reviews published on the Website.
The Service Provider does not provide legal advice through the Contact Form and does not accept a case for handling, unless the parties expressly agree otherwise in separate correspondence. Merely sending an enquiry does not constitute acceptance of a case for handling.
§ 4. Technical Requirements and Rules of Use
The following are necessary to use the Website and Electronic Services:
a device with access to the Internet;
a current web browser supporting JavaScript and cookies;
an active email address, if the User uses the Contact Form; and
software enabling PDF files to be read, if the User wishes to view documents in that format.
The User is required to use the Website and Electronic Services in accordance with the law, good customs and these Terms and Conditions, and not to provide illegal content through the Contact Form or by email.
The following are prohibited in particular:
disrupting the operation of the Website;
bypassing or attempting to bypass the Website’s security measures;
sending malicious software or other data that may compromise the security of IT systems;
sending enquiries automatically and on a mass scale;
impersonating other persons; and
infringing the rights of third parties.
The Service Provider may temporarily restrict access to the Website or particular Electronic Services for technical or security reasons, maintenance, updates or the need to remedy a failure.
§ 5. Conclusion and Termination of the Agreement for the Provision of Electronic Services
The agreement for the provision of the service consisting in enabling the User to browse the Website is concluded when the User begins using the Website and terminates when the User leaves the Website.
The agreement for the provision of the service consisting in accepting an enquiry sent through the Contact Form or to the Service Provider’s email address is concluded when the enquiry is successfully sent. The service is performed once a response has been provided or the User has been informed that no response will be provided.
The User may discontinue further correspondence at any time, in particular by sending the Service Provider a message informing it of the User’s decision to discontinue such correspondence. The User may end their use of the Website and Electronic Services at any time.
Sending an enquiry does not oblige the Service Provider to conclude an agreement for the provision of legal assistance, accept an instruction or provide substantive legal advice.
The Service Provider may refuse to handle an enquiry or discontinue the provision of the service if the content of the enquiry is illegal, violates these Terms and Conditions, contains malicious software, constitutes spam, poses a security risk, or if responding would be contrary to the law or the rules governing the profession.
§ 6. Reviews on the Website
Reviews concerning the Service Provider’s services may be published on the Website.
The Service Provider publishes on the Website only Reviews received from persons who have used the Service Provider’s services, after obtaining those persons’ separate consent to publish the Reviews.
Verification of a Review consists in checking whether its author is or was a client of the Service Provider, on the basis of the data and documentation available to the Service Provider as part of its relationship with the client. Verification does not consist in assessing whether a Review is positive or negative in nature.
The Service Provider does not publish fictional Reviews, commission Reviews or materially distort their content. The only permitted editing consists in removing personal data, third parties’ data, information covered by professional secrecy, details of a case or illegal content. Editing may not change the general meaning of the Review.
A Review is not published if its content would violate the law, professional secrecy or personality rights, or if it contained data concerning a case or a client to an extent exceeding the consent given.
Reviews displayed on external services, including a Google Business Profile, may be published and presented according to the rules established by the operators of those services. The Service Provider does not manage external services or the rules governing the publication and verification of Reviews applicable to them and does not guarantee the authenticity, completeness, currentness or verification method of Reviews visible exclusively on those services. This provision does not apply to Reviews published directly on the Website.
§ 7. Complaints
A Complaint concerning the Electronic Services or the operation of the Website may be sent to the email address: kontakt@kancelariachristensen.eu, with the subject line “Complaint – electronic services”.
A Complaint should contain information enabling the identification of the User and provision of a return contact, a description of the problem, the date on which it occurred and the User’s request. The absence of this information may make it difficult or impossible to consider the Complaint.
Complaints will be considered within 14 days of the date on which they are received.
The response to a Complaint will be sent to the email address indicated in the Complaint.
§ 8. Liability
The Service Provider exercises due care to ensure that the Website operates properly; however, it does not guarantee that the Website will operate continuously or without errors. The foregoing limitation does not exclude or limit liability that may not be excluded or limited under mandatory provisions of law.
The content published on the Website is informational in nature and does not constitute individual legal advice or an offer to conclude an agreement, unless expressly indicated otherwise.
The Service Provider is not responsible for external websites or for the content, rules or availability of the services of third parties, including Google. The foregoing does not limit liability that may not be excluded or limited under applicable law.
§ 9. DSA
The Service Provider does not make available on the Website any functionality enabling Users to independently and publicly disseminate content. Reviews may be published only after they have first been provided to the Service Provider, verified and subjected to an editorial decision by the Service Provider. For this reason, the Service Provider does not operate a hosting service or an online platform on the Website within the meaning of Regulation (EU) 2022/2065 of the European Parliament and of the Council (Digital Services Act – DSA).
Notwithstanding the foregoing, reports concerning content available on the Website may be submitted to kontakt@kancelariachristensen.eu. The Service Provider will consider such reports with due care, as appropriate to their content and the circumstances of the case.
§ 10. Final Provisions
These Terms and Conditions are available free of charge on the Website in a manner allowing them to be downloaded, recorded and reproduced.
The Service Provider may amend these Terms and Conditions for important reasons, in particular in the event of changes in the law, the functionality of the Website, the scope of Electronic Services or the rules for publishing Reviews. The Service Provider will announce an amendment to these Terms and Conditions on the Website at least 14 days before the amendment enters into force.
Amendments required by law or necessary to protect the security of the Website, the Service Provider or Users may enter into force before the expiry of the period referred to in paragraph 2, to the extent necessary to comply with a legal obligation or ensure security.
These Terms and Conditions and agreements for the provision of Electronic Services shall be governed by Polish law. This choice of law shall not deprive a Consumer of the protection afforded by mandatory provisions of the law of the country in which the Consumer has their habitual residence.
In matters not regulated by these Terms and Conditions, the provisions of Polish law shall apply. For disputes with Consumers, the statutory rules on jurisdiction shall apply. In all other cases, the court having jurisdiction over the Service Provider’s principal place of business shall have jurisdiction, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
